Streatham

Deputy Manager – Streatham – SW16

Hours: 38 hours per week

Full time, Permanent

Salary – £16,500-£18,000 (Paid hourly)

Job Description:

Deputy manager – second in charge.This role involves working closely with the manager to ensure the smooth running of a 25 place nursery. You will be managing the nursery in the absence of the manager and deputy. On the days that the manager is on site, to be working in the ratios with the children in a room lead position. Implementing the EYFS curriculum, making sure that the nursery is compliant with Ofsted standards and requirements, planning activities for children and observing them. Also liaising with parents daily and answering parent’s queries and questions.

An enhanced DBS is required for this position.

 

West Bromwich

Nursery Manager – West Bromwich, West Midlands

Hours: 38 hours per week

Full time, Permanent

Salary – £23,000-£27,000

Job Description:

 This role involves managing a nursery registered for 40 children. Also supervising a team 12 staff, ensure the smooth day to day running of the nursery, implementing the EYFS curriculum, making sure that the nursery is compliant with Ofsted standards and requirements, overseeing planning and observations. Also liaising with parents daily, corresponding with outside agencies and answering parent’s queries and questions.

The role involves working closely with the area manager to ensure that the nursery is compliant with Ofsted standards and delivers a good quality of teaching and learning for the children.

An enhanced DBS is required for this position. Also some experience of managing a nursery is required.

 

Nursery Nurse

The salary for this post is the minimum wage for your age.

Job Type: Full-time

Duties involve working as part of a team of 10 other staff members, working closely with the manager and deputy manager, liaising with parents, planning activities appropriate to the age range of the children, observing the children, maintaining learning journeys, meeting children’s everyday needs.
